Jack of Spades
Jack of Spades
Every man wants
in on our kingdom
But they know not
wherefore it’s black
Our sires and beauties
have wisdom
But on God,
we have turned our backs
As the world's clans
divide up fraternal
We shall set up
Spades eggs in each nest
Such patience will hold eternal
For a time
when our rebirth is best
Are they fearful
of being left alone?
Those soldiers who roam
in their packs
Like the ones who did
cast a chance stone
For the cloak
from right off his back
Men from an army
That did the world unite
Powers beyond temples
and god-fearing folk
Then, the day
became sudden night
The curtain was torn
and the thunders awoke
The division between man
And the promised
land broke
Washed clean
His innocent hands
Were then in blood soaked
